Winter Ascent up the Bowl

Brought snowshoes, crampons, ice axe, trekking poles, etc. -- as suspected, didn't need the snowshoes.  Crampons and ice axe were mandatory.  Lower part of the trail was pretty icy early in the morning but quite soft in the afternoon.  The bowl was rather hard at first but softened up a bit as the sun warmed things up.
