hiked up above the campground and crossed the North Fork Big Pine Creek
12:23am - Reached South Fork trail junction
04:06pm - Reached Brainerd Lake
~5:00pm - Reached Finger Lake

06:24am - Left Finger Lake
09:24am - Reached the base of the NE face route at the top of the moraine
11:25am - Reached summit of Middle Palisade
12:00pm - Left summit
02:23pm - Reached the top of the moraine
04:25pm - Reached camp (Brian & Matt followed about an hour later)

07:50am - Left camp at Finger Lake
11:27am - Reached trailhead at upper parking area

Time from lower trailhead parking area to Finger Lake: 5 hrs 40 mins
Time from Finger Lake to Summit: 5 hrs 1 min
Time on summit: 35 mins
Time from summit back to Finger Lake: 4 hrs 25 mins
Time from Finger Lake to upper parking area TH: 3 hrs 37 mins

Notes:

Driving Time from Bakersfield to Big Pine: 3.5 hrs best time, 4 hrs with traffic
Rained in the early evening on 8/20 & 8/21
Brian can see Sill, Jepson?, and the Thumb? from his house in Big Pine.
