Glacier Ridge with Bob Burd 7/18/2009 Started from the Marvin Pass trailhead at 12:13am. At close to 50 miles this was my longest dayhike ever. Turns out it's not as close to 50 as I thought. GPS puts the mileage closer to 47. That's still my longest hike however. Mosquitos around Big Wet Meadow were horrendous. We each received countless bites especially when having to do a slow river crossing with boots off.
